All Good Things

By Thunder

This is the most personal album up to this date.  Originally, the plan was for SDO to go on hiatus while I concentrated on En Bokeh and getting a release out.  I was going to focus on more of a commercial sound and actually go for a bit of monetary success.  This isn’t to say that En Bokeh isn’t artistically worthy or that success and quality are juxtaposed, but is to say that SDO doesn’t always have the most commercial sound.  This however was all tossed out the window in early April 2011 when my father passed away.  Commercial success seems to matter very little, and I needed both an outlet for my grief but somehow create a tribute.

This album is a few month process of working through emotions and challenges that have been daunting.  My life completely changed this year, and this album is a reflection.  I hope you listen and I hope you enjoy.  I hope you can hear a bit of what my father meant to me, and I know that he is listening.

Destined to be out in January of 2012, here is a cut from the album titled ‘Release’
